The larger Art Center community. The telescope was placed at the entrance of the school.

Technology
A video monitor was embedded at the end of the telescope. Turning a knob accessed web cams placed linearly throughout the building, allowing the user to see from one end of the building to the other.

Design
The heart of the project was constructing the telescope itself- a huge undertaking that landed me the emergency room after a metal shaving flew into my eye.

Insight
The ability to look from one end of the school challenges viewers to make connections between the spaces they live and work in on a daily basis.
